“There are three types of baseball players: Those who make it happen, those who watch it happen and those who wonder what happens.” – Tommy Lasorda
In 2019 we created Diamond360 as a way to connect and work with athletes of all ages, now 5 years later we have built a community of people, the Diamond360 family. We have found our home, an indoor facility that helps better prepare our athletes. We are very thankful for all the support along the way.
We (Coach Crandell and Coach Romero) have been friends since the Freshman year of college. We were on the same college summer baseball team for three years and connected instantly over a passion for the game. We played baseball together at Friends University in Wichita, Kansas and coached there for a year as well. Following college we coached the Napa Legion Baseball Club in the summer of 2015. In the Spring of 2016 Coach Crandell was named the head JV coach at Napa High School while Coach Romero was named lead infield coach and hitting coach. We spent the following 3 years coaching together at Napa High at both the JV and Varsity levels. We have coached at all levels from little league to college. Together we have a combined 10+ years of coaching experience and have dedicated our lives to baseball, the advancement and the growth of young athletes. As recent college athletes we understand the work it takes, the time needed ,and the level of motivation required to become great at this game.
Diamond360 baseball is committed to not only the growth of our athletes on the field, but off the field as well. Through learning how to work as a team and overcome hardship and adversity, our goal is to create quality young athletes who thrive on the field, in their communities, and to help develop an understanding of what it takes to be successful at this game from a players' perspective.
Played Division 1 baseball at St. Bonaventure University after transferring from SUNY Erie, a junior college located in Buffalo, NY. Signed and played professional baseball in the United Shore Professional Baseball League. I was the assistant and head hitting coach for 3 years at SUNY Erie College where I was in charge of player development for our hitters.
I Interned with the Buffalo Bills as a Strength and Conditioning coach during the 2020/2021 seasons, working directly alongside professional athletes in the weight room and on the field. I also have experience in training with D1 baseball program, Niagara University, where we focused on sport specific training and movements to help them be more successful on the field.
After 3 years of Varsity baseball I got invited to participate in the USSSA All-American games in Florida. From there I got selected to play in the Caribbean Classic in San Juan, Puerto Rico for Ali Cepeda and his Cepeda Bulls. During the summers I played with the Collegiate summer team The Indians as well as some seasons of JUCO baseball at Solano Community College. I’ve coached 4 years of high school softball at Vanden High School as the Assistant, I worked mainly with infielders as well as running our speed and agility programs during the off-season.
